NACDI/ AMRA announces the departure of Dyani White Hawk Polk
The Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI) and All My Relations Arts (AMRA) announces the departure of Dyani White Hawk Polk from the organization as Gallery Director/Curator on March 17th, 2015. Mrs. White Hawk Polk has chosen to pursue a career as a full-time artist based in St. Paul, MN. During her 4-year tenure, she has curated over 10 beautiful exhibits showcasing American Indian fine artists locally, nationally and internationally. She has built an impressive network connecting All My Relations to both artists and art-based institutions throughout the country and has raised the profile of our community.
On behalf of the organization and gallery, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for her years of tireless work in promoting and building the local arts scene on a national scale. Her work has seamlessly dovetailed into our dream of building the American Indian Cultural Corridor as a regional destination and source of pride. As a small team and family, her presence will be missed but we are excited to support her new career decision and wish her all the best.
Dyani can be contacted via her website at: www.dyaniwhitehawk.com. During this transition please feel free to contact either myself at: jbadheartbull@nacdi.org, or Assistant Curator, Graci Horne at ghorne@nacdi.org.
With Gratitude,
jay bad heart bull
