Victory Rally Toy Theater

All My Relations Arts in partnership with the Hennepin County Library is hosting a Victory Rally Toy Theater Film Project for youth in grades K-12.

Aspiring puppeteers will learn how to make a tiny toy theater and paper style puppets. The theme of this play is based on the ongoing movement to end the use of racist mascots. Each Victory Rally art kit provides illustrations of youth who symbolically carry the torch for continued activism towards justice. Participants are encouraged to create a storyline that shows a feeling of victory over racism.

Watch this video created by artist Graci Horne to learn more about the project.

Hapistinna Graci Horne, better known at Graci, was born and raised in Mnisota (Minnesota). Her bands are the Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota people and Hunkpapa Lakota and Dakota people.
