All My Relations Arts is partnering with poet and artist Wang Ping’s Kinship of Rivers project. The Mississippi River (subject of our current exhibit, Original Green) and the Yangtze River are “sister rivers” both originating in the homelands of indigenous people. All My Relations Arts presents Wang Ping’s Kinship Of Rivers flag-making workshop, 4:00pm – 6:00pm this Friday at All My Relations Gallery in collaboration with the artists from Original Green Exhibition, now showing through June 11. Local American Indian poets will add the voices and visions of indigenous Americans to this project and read their poems this Friday at 6:00pm at All My Relations Gallery, with the Original Green reception to follow.
