BRING HER HOME SACRED WOMXN OF RESISTANCE

 

Bring Her Home: Sacred Womxn of Resistance showcases contemporary expressions of Indigenous resistance in response to the colonial foundations of the MMIW epidemic.

By creating counter dialogues in response to the colonial roots of the MMIW epidemic, curator Reyna Hernandez encourages artists to give voice to those most affected by this structural violence.

Programming:

Gallery temporarily closed

AMRA gallery will be temporarily closed to comply with Minnesota’s updated Covid-19 guidelines. This decision affects the planned opening of Bring Her Home: Sacred Womxn of Resistance. In an effort to continue to provide access and programming, AMRA will be shifting the exhibition online through January 2nd.
